Gabriela A. Flores

Howdy! I'm a recent graduate of the Visualization major at Texas A&M, and I'm looking to specialize in  pre-visualization and post production techniques. Animation for me has opened unlimited avenues of storytelling through the opportunity to bring the perspectives of individuals embodied into a singular narrative structure that cannot be replicated in any other art form. Since the start of my career, I’ve delved into several aspects of the animation process, each with its own major contributions to the overall body of work; I am informed and experienced in concept art, storyboarding, CG modeling, layout, animation, look development, lighting, and compositing. Of these, I specialize in concept art, storyboarding, layout, and compositing. The projects that I’ve worked on consist of, “You Beelong With Me,” a story about a bee's dream of falling and love and helping a bee in need and, “Morte D’Arty,” a short about a goblin’s ambitions clouding his better judgment. For both of these projects, my contributions in concept, layout, lighting, and compositing led me to further understand the vast realm that is storytelling through the visual mode.
